    Teacher Training

West Hatch High School: ITT (Initial Teacher Training)

As a school we are committed to Initial Teacher Training and supporting the future leaders of our education system. We are proud of the work we do in preparing trainee teachers for their future careers. A high percentage of our current teaching staff have trained here through our School Direct training programme. All trainees are supported with excellent professional development programmes, weekly meetings with their mentors and outstanding resources.

In 2015-16 100% of the trainees who went through the WETSA School Direct partnership graduated as Outstanding or Good (68% Outstanding).

For further information, please contact Mr Stephen Windsor, ITT Co-ordinator on: swindsor@westhatch.essex.sch.uk
