We would like to draw your attention to the JCQ Contingency Days.

These are timetabled for the afternoons of the 6th and 13th June, as well as the day of 26th June 2024.

The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.

Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday 26 June 2024, should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
